Our Shared Spaces

During your stay, my home becomes your home. There are many spaces for you to find privacy. Large communal spaces to meet and make new friends, sharing stories in front of a fire, or over a pool table.

A vast outdoor private garden for games, dogs, sunbathing or reading under a tree. Tucked away, a small garden and fully private jacuzzi area. All within the one main building, a few steps away from your bedroom.

Lounge and Dining Space

Off the main entrance hallway you have our main central social space. The grand room features spaces for both a lounge with a large farm style wood fireplace for roaring winter fires. Also, a large separate dining table which seats up to 12 people when required.

Off to one side you have a feature kitchen which also has counter seating for 3 people should you wish to watch the chef at work!

​

There is a large TV, wifi and plenty of the essentials for eating, drinking, playing games or relaxing with a book.

​

There are doors from here to the side terrace of the property where most of our outside dining takes place during the warm southern french weather.

The Kitchens

Off the main dining room you have a feature kitchen which also has counter seating for 3 people should you wish to watch the chef at work!

​

Here you will find some of our private wine collection - some may be available at an extra charge. If you wish for us to provide any specific wines please let us know your preference in advance - just in case you do not have time to explore the vineyards yourself. Local wines direct from producers are available at very affordable prices.

​

Tucked away past the feature kitchen is Annie's private main kitchen area, larder and storage area where you can keep your own produce should you wish. There is a side door to the road from here to aid the easy unloading of groceries.

The English Lounge

From the lounge area you can enter a separate lounge in the style of an old english pub.

 

Here you will find;

  • An english pool table

  • A darts board

  • A sofa for relaxing and chatting

  • Cards and boardgames

The Asian Walled Garden

Accessible from the main front garden, but also directly from the premium bedroom "Room 1 - Soleil Couchant" via the balcony stairs shown here, you will find our hidden Asian themed oasis.

This is a private space surrounded and protected on all sides by the original, restored walls of the property. Discreet lighting allows for twilight dips.

The Main Garden

Through electronically controlled vehicle gates you will find the garden and the main house revealed before you. 

 

Here you will find;

  • Established grand trees of differing types

  • Space for games

  • 2 seperate lawns for sunbathing

  • Occasional summer temporary pool

  • An old fresh water well

  • Outside tap for animal drinking water

  • A leaning tree for seating and reading/ painting in the shade
